We at BYC have designed an all round best set of cooling plates that are a direct bolt-on to suit the EG and EK running standard 262 size discs with OEM callipers.

We have incorporated in the design a split 60/40% cooling system, 60% of the air flowing down the brake duct hits the back of the brake piston chamber first (where the brake fluid is within the calliper) then re-joins the 40% direct feed to the brake pads and discs.

As we all know from experience on track, that 'spongey pedal' and lack of stopping power is a sign that your brake fluid is starting to boil and your pad is starting to break down due to exceeding its optimum performance temperature.  This is a result from the excessive heat being transferred from your continuous heavy braking on track.

The BYC cooling plates have been designed and positioned to cool 'ALL' parts of the braking system including most importantly, the Fluid! 

This kit due to its position focuses on cooling the following parts: Brake fluid, pads and disk.

There is no need to undo your braked lines to fit the BYC brake cooler plates as within the design there is an opening slot to fit around your brake lines.

To fit these you will need to undo the 2x 12mm carrier bolts and retighten to spec once the plates are fitted.

Included within the kit:

2x BYC cooling plates

1x 2metre length ducting (1metre for each side)

2x 3D printed high flow intake cones for front bumper (Colour Black)
